Kegra runs a fulltime farm support services centre which engages in provision of agro-inputs to farmers, such as fertilizers, pesticides, agro-chemicals for disease control, post handling materials like turplines and silos all intended to enhance food and nutrition security, food availability, food access, food use and utilisation, and food stability in our areas of operation.
Kegra promotes permaculture which as a typical conservation farming which has three tenets; 1. Care for the planet/Earth care. Maintains focus on healthy soils & facilitating an ecosystem where biodiversity thrives. 2. Care for the people. Includes sustainably meeting the needs of an individual, family & community at large. 3. Fair share (involves returning surplus to the system).
